""Never less alone than when alone" This quote from the truly cryptic manuscript turned book entitled Etidorhpa, is a paradox to those who might not know themselves. The book, spoken of highly by 33rd degree Freemason, Manly P. Hall, is an esoteric journey into inner earth Agartha, but more importantly, doubles as a parabolic alchemical codex that shows the perils and freedom that come with inner transmutation."

"Ormus, short for Orbitally Rearranged Mono Atomic Elements (ORMEs), represents a fascinating intersection of ancient alchemy and modern science. These mysterious particles, primarily from the platinum group of metals, materialize through a unique alchemical process that opens energetic portals, bridging the gap between potentiality and physical reality. The creation and harvesting of Ormus is a testament to the profound capabilities of alchemical practices that have intrigued humanity for centuries."

ONE OF the most remarkable areas of research in Bashouti’s lab is nanotechnology, particularly in understanding and manipulating the surfaces of materials at nanoscale: a millionth of a millimeter. His research focuses specifically on the changes and processes at every material’s surface.“Each material has its own surface, and this surface becomes even more important when we examine the material at the nano level,” he explained. “At the nano range, materials exhibit new physical and chemical properties.”Bashouti used gold as a striking example: “Gold, as we know it, is yellow in color. But when you reduce it to the nanoscale, this element begins to showcase different colors – red, blue, orange, and even green. By controlling the size and shape of these nanogold particles, we can design these new colors – and, more importantly, new physical and chemical properties.”

"The Canellopoulos Museum, the Institute of Historical Research of the National Hellenic Research Foundation, and the Center for Hellenic Studies in Greece organize the workshop "Alchemy in Byzantium: Exploring a Fascinating 'Art'." CHS Greece, through its annual workshop series, aims to support Hellenic Studies and the broader field of Humanities, and to offer intergenerational, interdisciplinary, lifelong learning opportunities to the public. In this workshop, we will delve into the intriguing realm of Byzantine alchemy, a field that until recently remained largely unexplored but has now begun to attract research interest. Despite this growing attention, alchemy in Byzantium remains largely unknown to the general public."
