The artist Jane Estelle Trombley (JET) has created her tarot as a series of wonderfully detailed paintings. She obviously has a great intuitive understanding and grasp of the significance of esoteric symbols and has skillfully incorporated these into her tarot images. Her sense of colour allows her to use a brilliant palette while at the same time delightfully harmonising the hues and tones. Underlying her paintings is a well conceived structure. JET thinks of the space of her paintings as having various geometrical forms, and this awareness enforms the drawings that underpin these paintings.
