  Video: Prague's Alchemical Secrets
Posted by: Paul Ferguson - 07-22-2025, 05:26 PM - Forum: Articles on alchemy - No Replies

"Alchemy in the Czech Republic—particularly in the enchanting city of Prague—unfolds like a fable written in gold, shadow, and firelight. More than simple tales of superstition, Czech alchemy is a gateway into a time when magic and science were entwined in a single pursuit of truth. In the late 16th and early 17th centuries, Prague emerged as the beating heart of European mysticism, its narrow lanes whispering secrets of forgotten experiments and esoteric rituals."

"In pursuit of prestige and riches, wealthy people across medieval Europe worked in vain to transmute everyday metals into gold. Today, this process, known as chrysopoeia, is mostly dismissed as an alchemical dream. But is there any science to show that metals can be turned into gold?"

Unveiling the Alchemical Path of Psychotherapy
Posted by: Paul Ferguson - 07-22-2025, 05:07 PM - Forum: Articles on alchemy - No Replies

"Psychotherapy is often seen as a journey of self-discovery, healing, and transformation. But what if we could think of this journey through the lens of alchemy? Alchemy, the ancient practice of transforming base metals into gold, offers a vivid metaphor for the emotional and psychological changes that occur in therapy. By understanding psychotherapy as an alchemical process, we can unveil a powerful path to the soul."
