Emblem 44 of Atalanta Fugiens

In the foreground three men, one in oriental dress open a coffin to reveal a king coming back to life. In the background we see on the left his body being cut into pieces by a man with a sword, witnessed by a woman. On the right the woman seated at a table discourses with the man in oriental dress. This is a reference to the myth of the dismemberment of Osiris, the collecting of his body part together by Isis, and his resurrection.
