Lecture: Research-Creation & the Alchemical Studio

Dr. Tyson E. Lewis, Professor Art Education in the College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas, will present a lecture, “Research-Creation and the Alchemical Studio: An Experiment in Studious Drift." In this presentation, Dr. Lewis creates a dialectical image in which the ancient practice of alchemy is juxtaposed next to the contemporary practice of research-creation.
