"The Ripley Scroll is a 5.5 metre long alchemical scroll filled with illustrations and poems which allegedly contains the secret to the elixir of life. On this free 20 minute talk, visitors will learn more about this object, which is on display in the Physicians’ Gallery. Physicians’ Gallery, which is within the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, is a permanent gallery and learning centre which explores our relationship with health, medicine and our bodies."
