"Rubedo is part of Alchemy of the Self, a series inspired by the alchemical process and its parallels to C. G. Jung’s concept of individuation. Rather than seeing transformation as a linear path toward a perfected self, I understand it as a process that moves in spirals. We return to our shadows, contradictions and inner conflicts again and again — each time with the possibility of meeting them differently. If Nigredo represents the encounter with what has been hidden or rejected, Rubedo explores what can emerge through its integration."
