How d'you get the images into the "reply" panel? I tried to upload one but it holds it as an attachment; doesn't show it.
Thanks!
Absinthe.

You need to keep the size down. pixresizer (free) is good at that.

Good afternoon, Gregory,
No, it's ok about size. I saved it in a low jpg quality. It's only 88kb. The browse warned me it had to be below 500kb. The post holds is as an attachment. Perhaps that's what's meant to happen.
No doubt the answer will be apparent when another contributor loads in a picture.
:)

It could be the type of file. It'll take a pdf, zip, etc, but won't show them. each will need to be downloaded by anyone who wants to see them. the best thing is to use a jpg, even if you need to convert it from another type. Just 'browse', select your file, verify that it came into the attachment ok, then 'post reply'

Ok then.....
SUN
Photomontage based on a gouache.
I can remove the caption and move the symbols down if necessary. The file is about 300k, resolution 300pix/inch.
Please feel free to reject it if you find something more appropriate.
Cheers,

I think it would work either way, with or without text. once I get the border done and get your high res card, I can put them to together and then it'll be easier to see you like it or not.
I am working on the border now so it should be done soon.

The pattern is 'sandstone', remember this is low res.Attached Image (viewed 247 times):

A very nice Hermit there, Gregory. It rings well with me, looking at the hermit as the one who comes out to reveal to those who want to see.

Here's yet another one with much orange light in it: The Tower.
The photo shows the holocaust memorial in Berlin with the posh new hotels, offices and shopping centers at Potsdamer Platz in the background.
Meaning: About the destructiveness of pride. All our wealth and confidence is built upon the victim's graves from previous wars, starvations and even genocides, with Germany and the Shoah only being the most prominent example.
Hope you like it.

did you mean Nov 1, 2013?
Would you like to do another card?
And remember to get the high res version to me.

Priestess.
Colours/contrast can be varied if it clashes with surrounding cards - just say.
I'd appreciate if anyone would say which they like best.
Thanks!
= = = =
I'm having real trouble getting the pic smaller like the others. Keep resizing it but it stays the same size here.
Let's try again.

Thanks, gregory!! I figured if any woman rates as a Magician, it's Maya Angelou. An homage of sorts.

The Moon
For me The Moon is about exchange between dream and awareness, reality and imagination, past and future. It is like viewing earth from the moon.
My “towers” are two versions of the St Michael’s Church of Hamburg, which is dedicated to the Archangel Michael, who’s bronze statue is standing above the portal of the church conquering the devil. While dreaming, there is no linear time, past events exists side by side with present and thus the 1750 destroyed version of the church exists side by side with the present one.
My dog takes guarding the towers seriously, so the crayfish got no chance.

I love all the new cards. The magician is just perfect, Kimberly! Great choice.
MrLaLuna, Temperance is wonderful. Even if it cost you a lot of trouble to make it. It has a really tranquil feel.
And Eno, the Moon is also great.

OK, here is the lo-res version of the Star, first draft. The final version may not be so vertically distorted. I'm still fooling with it.

I just realized I posted my cards in the wrong thread
So ok, here again, in the right one:
Wheel of Fortune
Description:
For the Wheel I choose the image of the May Pole. Although the May celebration is not the only one in the Wheel of the Year, the May Pole itself is a clear reference to the Wheel. The ribbons around the pole represent each of us, woven together into the fabric of life. The 4 coloured ribbons on the card represent both the seasons and the elements (blue: winter/water, green: spring/earth, yellow: summer/air, red: autumn/fire).Attached Image (viewed 152 times):

The second card: Justice
Description:
For Justice I choose an image of Ancient Egypt where the heart is weighted on a scale against the feather of Maät. Maät is the Goddess of harmony and order. She connects directly to the reality of the world and justice in general. In Egyptian lore, the heart of the deceased is weighted in order to pass over to eternal life. However, instead of making up the balance after death, it is more important to do so in our daily lives and look at our own heart when dealing with both the big and mundane issues.Attached Image (viewed 148 times):

Thank you! I'm attaching a proposed Hierophant card since no one has claimed it.
June 9, 2014, The Professor (Bob Carlson) died unexpectedly of previously undiagnosed lung cancer. He was an excellent Tarot reader, but more than that he was a teacher of earth and environmental sciences, especially hazardous materials handling and disposal. The Hierophant sees the world and the world beyond, so his view is sometimes fragmented in our eyes; he cannot be dismissed because he sees beyond and tries to teach others whose vision may seem clearer but is incomplete.Attached Image (viewed 139 times):

BTW - When I made this card, I just googled "corporate Satan" and this was one of the images that came up. Now that I posted it and made it real small - I thought it possibly resembled one of the many parodies of Obama -- if so - I promise the large picture does not --- and if it had - I would never have used it! And if I could have traced the picture I would have given the "artist" the credit. Before the deck gets published - I hope to.

Goodness me, I agree with you, gregory! Please let's keep personal politics out of this. I like the Devil card as it has been presented, but no references to political preferences.
