Changed Judgement's spelling to its present form, and I'll be updating my first post in this thread instead. That way, the latest page of the thread won't get too crowded with the images. I also made them so they'll upload in groups of sixes, with a 3 card width, so as not to stretch the reading area like last time. So far cards up to Nicole's Ace of Cups are included. Please tell me if I missed out on a card.

Oh Yes! Love the way you've cloned? the glyph from the painting - it holds the weight of the swords in balance with the sun...

Mmm I dunno if I'm the only one, and I do think this new Monet version is wonderful, but I love the dark Noir feel of the earlier version more...

Nicole, it depends if you want the dove flying into the scene or out of it - the first feels just right in that respect. The position of the cup is better in the second uploaded image, but perhaps they're the same and the image was simply slightly overcropped in the first? Great Ace though...

High Priest is wonderful, scary and thrilling, wow, awesome
Nicole, How about keeping the dove and cup/hand as they are now, an mirroring the waterfall?
I have gotta get to work!

Done. I am leaving the Ace as is.. I am sure I will be revisiting everything obsessively
as more cards appear and send me back to neurotic mode.

This is fabulous! So well done everybody!!
I think these understated borders and titling are just great, and maybe all that's needed.

Wow, my goooosh everyone! I had to take a break from the Forum to catch up on some deadlined projects and came to find all this incredibly wonderful art here. You all just inspire the bejeezes out of me. It blows me away seeing all this great art together like this, such vivid imagery, potent symbology, its just incredibly inspirational. I don't know where to begin...but you've got me all jazzed to work on my cards now everyone. I'll do that this week and once I figure out how to upload my 2 cards I'll feel a lot better.
I am very moved by all your wonderful cards you guys! It’s truly a thrill and privilege to be a part of this deck!
Warmest wishes,
Arnell

I'm fiddling around with a photo I took in a museum in Martinez, California while on a ghost hunt. They say this room is haunted but I didn't see anything except these 6 cups. At least, that's all I remember.

Very cool! Did you think about maybe making the cups a little bit bigger(to scale), and placing them in interesting places within the photo - one in her hand, one on the toy platform, one on top of the chalkboard, etc. These are just my ramblings...I love it the way it is too!

I did and may play around with it some more. When it came out like this, I decided I liked this as a possibility because the cups appear to be spinning in a circle at Dollie's command like bees or something. Hmm, somehow reminiscent of my own childhood. Thanks for the suggestion. Will post if I come up with something cool.

Such a beautiful card Marcia. I love the nostalgic feel of it…I had a set of miniature teacups like that when I was a kid. It’s a perfect image for the 6 of Cups…I really resonate with it. Everyone is doing such a great job, I’m so impressed. I’ve been working on my 10 of Swords. Almost ready…
Warmly,
Arnell

And again I apologize Skad1 and to everyone...I feel badly, forgive my bad manners.
I will go sit in the corner for at least 15 minutes.
Yikes, I did NOT mean to make anyone feel bad! Now I feel bad (as I go crawl into my corner to cry) You really don't know what the response will be to a new idea until it happens, ya know? I don't think it was bad manners, just a neat idea that took off. I've asked Adam to move the stuff from this tread to the new one, but I don't know if he can or not. I hope so.
But you can go to your corner for 15 minutes, a 15 minute break sounds really good to me right now. Why does everyone need something at once, and while you're trying to find out information for one person, someone else thinks their emergency has to solved right away. Once that's done, you think about getting to the stuff that you thought was important in the first place.

Thanks Skad1, for your sweet note and your patient understanding.
Well I think I'm pretty much ready with this as my 10 of Swords... It's my first time to post an image on a Forum so hope this goes according to plan...
Thanks again!

Thank you very much Nicole,
I really appreciate your thoughtful feedback, goes straight to my heart. xo
I didn't get a chance to mention earlier as I rushed to catch up with you guys but I really liked your 6 of Swords Nicole. You were able to convey that intense, barely escapeing the storm feeling and mood very well there. Your Sun card is adorable, so warm and full of happy vibes! And I much prefer your 2nd version of Ace of cups with the larger chalice and dove on the right side (moving closer towards the future, at least that's how I see it to mean)...we need that PEACE sooner rather than later huh? Its a lovely tranquil setting. All great cards Nicole!

The card-ed images updated till Arnell's 10 of Swords.
Nicole, I was wrong. The Monet card does look perfect as it is (now that I see it in card form).
Arnell, that 10 of swords looks really polished. I hope you don't mind me toying with it to make a temporary back design. But maybe for the actual cards, we'll use OnePotato's design from last year, if he allows that. :)

If we are to be printing the minors at home (which remains one possibility, I think ?) OnePotato's design is perfect as you don't have to line it up.... I am printerfully terminally challenged when it comes to lining up.... Also it can be done on one side of the card on a monoprinter (I am VERY devoted to last year's deck, and printed my own user-friendly (laminated !!!) copy, so that I can't do anything awful to the deck...)

Yes Skad and I were thinking the same thing. That design was pretty clever actually. I hope he allows us to use it. As for home printing the minors, well, Skad might have a little surprise to tell us *wink* but I think we still should get printable digital copies of the whole deck, so we can at least print more... dessication-resistant copies at home for rough, tough tarot work.

It doens't need to be rough and tough for me to.....
Coffee is a terrible thing.
Beer is worse.......
And OnePotato's back was inspired ! I LOVE it ! It should be like the Museo's standard back - OUR back !

Rather concerned that I am going to be the only one with a painted illustrative card! Think mine might spoil the flow of the deck.

Very stylish too. That's a good idea using it a standard. Makes it our own "brand" or something, like a logo. :)

Mine will probably be drawings or something. Not sure yet. Last time I worked with pastels. And possibly one will be a photograph.
Anyway, diversity is what makes a deck like this so nice!

At last my 2 of Cups is finished - it was the first card i started on but the last to get finished.
It is a wish, a vision of a past that will never be, because it involves someone that i dearly loved but that passed away recently.

Thank you Blue Toy. Wow, the cards look so beautiful how you have them all cozy in their frames like that and with their lovely fonts and all. Very stylish, really! Thanks for doing that and for all the behind the scenes stuff you guys are doing (Skad1, Blue Toy et all) to make this come together so beautifully and smoothly (printing specs, lwb everything!) I actually really like the way you practiced with my card for the backs Blue Toy. Would be fun for me if we used that card the way you have it but I also really like your friend One Potato's backs and realize not to mention, that a two toned back is a lot more cost effective too.
Blue Toy I didn't get a chance to say before but I am really liking your card contributions. I especially clicked with your 8 of Wands. Perfect! Tho your Queen of Swords is also a great depiction.
Thanks,
Arnell

Blue Bubble dear,
I am most anxious to see your Fool card, as I so love the way you paint...that's why I begged ya to be in this deck doncha know?! You have many fans of your art here. Looking forward to seeing your card for this deck (and...not to mention, your own deck getting published.) Good luck with your Fool card, I know it will be fabulous!

Yeah...I really wish I could draw or paint as artists like Pen and Blue Bubble do. I'd prolly give up Photoshop if I could...but on the other hand, I don't think digital art is necessarily faster than traditional art, at least not for obsessive types like me. I can spend days sometimes on one image tho probably only I can see all the work in it. And my son can whip up an amazing, finely detailed drawing in a couple hours...not fair!! I do enjoy the creative process and meditation of digital art but wish I could just create from my mind's eye like traditionalists do...ya know? But I'm with you on not having to buy the art supplies. That's a big plus!

I adore your Knight of Cups! Its gorgeous and dreamy...really wonderful. And your Knight of Swords is tres cool too. You amaze me Pen. Your Temperance - especially the one with the purple-ish background is divine! It really pops with that dark contrast, and its a very touching image of Temperance. Not a card I resonate with in most decks, but yours is very special.

I am very sad to hear you have lost someone so close my dear Stefan...your 2 of cups is a beautiful meditation and tribute.
I was also quite taken with your Moon card, I like to think of Pamela being our dreamy, shimmering, elusive, mystical Moon. I also love that wonderful 7 of cups... Its such a pleasure being a part of this deck and sharing in everyone's art, seeing it evolve like this...so many cool cards!

Yes, a lovely card, made especially poignant by knowing a little of how it came to be created. The card will be a vision made tangible.
