Darmstadt alchemical and Freemasonic manuscript - Adam McLean - 01-16-2023 I have not seen this manuscript before. It seems to be from the 18th century and incorporates alchemical imagery within a Freemasonic context. I have asked some colleagues for further information. ‘Hermann’ is presumably the 4th Prince of Wied-Neuwied, 1814-1864. The Profess-Stube (‘profession chamber’) would be where the oaths were sworn, though to what we can only surmise. |
