The Alchemical Emblem as a Kabbalistic Symbol - Paul Ferguson - 12-08-2025 "Within the Hermetic tradition, there exist symbols whose depth cannot be exhausted, whose geometry conceals not only the metaphysics of alchemy but the very architecture of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. One such emblem-a circle enclosing a triangle, which in turn contains a square and an inner circle-appears in the works of Michael Maier's Atalanta Fugiens and reemerges throughout Rosicrucian and Masonic iconography. What seems at first a simple alchemical figure is, upon deeper examination, a geometric expression of the entire Tree of Life. It encodes the ten sefirot, the four worlds, the three Orders of the Rosicrucian Grade Structure, and the universal progression of manifestation from Unity to Multiplicity." https://www.academia.edu/145081602/THE_ALCHEMICAL_EMBLEM_AS_A_KABBALISTIC_SYMBOL |
