In this visual presentation William Kiesel will discuss the underlying symbolism of correspondences the Hermetic Tradition expressed through music and emblems during the renaissance. Additionally anecdotes from mythology highlighting the importance music and its instruments in esoteric ritual and culture give contexts to these ideas which continue to inspire those who listen to, or make, music today.
