I am working on a visual exhibition of old decks. Most of what we need I have professionally photographed, but I never have had a chance to hold, or shoot, an original Marseilles deck. I don't want to steal images off of the web, and the few museums I have contacted have been less than helpful (most stating that they do not have the decks--I think I am contacting the wrong museums).
What I need are actual scans or photos of ORIGINAL Marseilles deck cards. I am not especially picky on which version, as these are just reference for comparison to later decks, not a thorough and detailed examination of the Marseilles variants. If you are reading this and have (or know of someone who has please) images or a deck you can shoot images of (trump cards mostly) would you please be so kind as to reply or PM me?
I can give you more information if you need. What I am looking for are images around the size of 600x800 at 96 dpi, as this is for a website. Thanks in advance either way.
