Hi Everyone
Joined a few months ago then became distracted by shiny things and trinkets so first virginal post on here. I use Tarot for personal study and /or apprectiation of the more left field versions of Tarot decks. The personal study area is around Thoth deck and its multivarious delights (an amazing deck) and to a lesser extent(and based on what I could find via a link to The British Museum) the beautiful and etheral Waite Trinick Tarot- I am still so so upset I did not purchase the Abiding in the Sanctuary book from 2011 (I have had some contact with a member from here and hopefuly one day a republication) following indescision regarding cost -yawn and deep self loathing!!!!. Also very intriqued by Lon Milo DuQuette Tarot of Ceremonial Magick(I like Lon very very much and his books are excellent-good man)  and The Golden Dawn Enochian Skrying Tarot,The Goden Dawn Tarot, The Alchemical Tarot (Robert M Place), The Enochian Tarot(very interesting),The Hermetic Tarot-black and white and not sure about the figures!!!, and the French Masonic Tarot deck(beautiful deck and with shimmering gilding on the cards).
In my left field decks are the recent Hexen 2.0 Tarot and this may be one day shifted into the more personal study groupings-(I love all things counterculture and this deck is amazing in regard the hidden histories regarding same), The Houswives Tarot and the great Zombie Tarot. Again these are clever decks and more insightful and deeper than may be realised from the title of the decks. I suppose with the deepness of Tarot anyway that surely all decks will contain the layers of an onion analogy... I dont tend to go for the 'cuter' type decks-not really my thing but I appreciate that our world of Tarot caters for all tastes.
So, longer than I envisaged Hello- good to be here and looking forward to tips on other decks and discussion. Anyone with a copy of Abiding in the Sanctuary let me know if you want to sell haha. I deeply want to purchase a set of The Kashmir Tarot one day when funds allow. My favorite deck is still and probably always the Thoth Tarot.
Typed from great britain on a warm summer evening with my back door open and my pug doggie lying asleep against my foot - very chilled and everyone when you read this have a great day/evening -
peace and love all
Harrie
