We are all familiar with Lo Scarabeo's Bosch Tarot issued in 2000.
I have now managed to obtain a Bulgarian version dated 1999. As the artist, Atanas Atanasov (Atanassov), was Bulgarian, this appears to be a first edition of the Majors. It is not a rip-off copy made from the Lo Scarabeo publication, as the images are in a slightly different format, and have been cropped differently to fit the space on the card. In a number of cards more of the original image appears in the Bulgarian than in the Lo Scarabeo. Also the image for the Magician is different in the Bulgarian.
This was completely unknown to me. The printing is made onto a laid surfaced card, and is somewhat more subtly printed than the Lo Scarabeo edition.
