Just wondering if anyone has heard from Ly recently. I know he lost a lot of his work in a typhoon years ago, hoping he's ok after Haiyan/Yolanda. I haven't been online much, so maybe I missed news.
Thanks,
Sebille

I've emailed him but not heard back (I'm not surprised... so much power is out even in the safer areas.)

No word yet. Sherry knows where he lives, I think... I don't, sadly, so can't even look at news reports to see the area he's in.

Update; he emailed back and has said I can quote him:
Omg. So much for relying on my phone for online updates! Yes I'm ok. We live near the capital so we escaped most of the devastation. Though i think had we been in tacloban (which is miles and islands away) our roof would have blown off. But then, for that matter, anyone's roof would have blown off. The winds here wre pretty strong though. Though devastating in its own way, that major flood some years back affected us more, here, in these parts of our country.
We've number of people from those parts severely devastated by the typhoon. Some, we haven't heard from, even after it left. We're still hoping they somehow managed to survive it. Communication and, well, identification (of survivora and victims) is still, crazy. We're still pretty much in the dark as to what happened to them. :-(
I'm really thankful for the concern, though.

It is so good to know Ly is okay. The Philippines is such
a brutal environment. He has been affected by natural
disasters a number of times in only a few years, something
that most of us can have little conception of.

(a very belated) Thanks for the concern guys. It's much appreciated, especially as I haven't been active in the tarot world the past few years. :)
