I'm Andrea, from Italy.
I'm a photographer spcialized in portrait photography and digital art. I got close to the tarot world when I met my girlfriend who is a sort of well-known tarot reader in my city.
I also like the philosophy and psicological and simbology behind the Tarot, and as a photographer, I'm currently developing a new Photographic/Digital Art Tarot Deck, and I Came across this forum out of curiosity to try and understand if what I'm trying to achieve as been already done by someone else or not.

I don't know all kind of decks, I personally own just a few, like Nicolas Conver's Marseille Deck, Luis Royo "The Labirinth Tarot", "The white cat's tarot", "The art neuveau Tarot", and a "Bolognese deck from the '50s".

So what better place to ask about decks than a collector's forum? :)

Hi Andrea, sounds like quite a project--I'm sure the members here will love seeing a few examples, if you care to share them.

Hi Debra, and thanks!

I will most surely share some image with you all, but I think this is not yet the right moment. I will have the deck ready for the end of april though, and then I'll self-publish a little book (50-60 pages) with the explanation of the project, all the major arcana, and some pictures that isolates the detail of the symbolism reproduced in the cards.

It's a matter of being sure that the idea remains well protected, I don't know any other way to do it, but here in italy when you get a isbn code for a book with your images inside, 3 legal copies are made and kept in the major libraries as to guarantee the paternity of the idea.

:)

So, bare with me just a little longer and I promise to share some of my images with you!
