Last week, I was browsing a huge flea market in Buenos Aires, and came across a very strange Tarot, sadly incomplete.
It was a Marseille; I'm pretty sure the basic line drawings were taken from Grimaud, with some areas coloured-in blue, and odd, quirky business/finance-themed interpretations and captions printed on the cards in Spanish, in a font as if they'd been scribbled on. On the backs there was a repeating motif of the Diners Club logo.
They were an above-average size, and printed on papery, not-very-thick cardstock.
There were only 35 cards present, and they were a random mix of trumps, pips, and courts. The cards were all numbered and went higher than 35, so I assume it is supposed to be a full 78 cards.
Does anyone have this? Heard of it?
I imagine it was some kind of promotional or giveaway item.
I was so disappointed it wasn't a complete pack! I didn't even bother asking in the price, but in retrospect, maybe I should have.
