Peter requested a look at this one.... Here is the “Nouveau Portrait de Aluette” by the French artist, Charles Pasino, with help from his most Amiable editor, R. Moretti. Limited edition of 200, woodblock print with stencil color, issued in 1998. I think Pasino’s woodcuts are extraordinarily charming, and the stenciled pips are really a very clever nod to the cardmaker’s tradition. And the package is a work of art in itself. |

Wow! I totally agree Pasino's woodcuts are wonderful and I certainly hope to acquire more of his work over time. Thanks for posting these images (yet another deck added to my wish list). I can imagine your delight when your parcel arrives from the auction house! It's also fascinating to see what artists are doing in addition to their tarot creations. |
