Hey guys. One of my students just turned me onto this. I ended up backing it. It is a wooden tarot deck ($100 pledge level) with your choice of woods. It looks like they are laser engraved. I don't think many of these will be made, and given the chance to customize the woods, including some exotic woods that are difficult to find, you can create your own tarot deck that is unique to you.

It might be worth checking out, but in 7 days the project ends (it is fully funded), so no more decks after that.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply :-)

The wooden deck took forever to get here but it is very nice. I think they only did a few tarot decks (I counted 24 in total) but they may have run a few extra. The engraving is okay, but not spectacular. The cards are remarkably resilient, but the real star of the show is the incredible box they came in. All in all I would say it is well worth the $100 if you can still get one, but all the more so since these are so rare.

I should upload pics, just for posterity. I just don't know if this is the best place to do it. I will check around the forums to see.

Hi!

I posted some here. I also wrote to Bibleot asking if they will make some more. I told them I have several hundred students (which is true) in case they might make some.
