I bought one of the E.J. Gold tarots - The Gorby's Mystic Tarot.
I am not quite sure what to make of him. Is he a total con
artist, or a self-deceiver ? His art is so rushed and
clumsy, yet on his website he appears to be giving
art lessons ! I would have thought he might need lessons himself.

Now he appears to have issued four or more tarots.

I think his work pretty much speaks for itself.

Whether it's raw, uninhibited creation, or just a laugh at my expense, at this point I have no reason to presume there is much of anything beyond what I see. So it doesn't really matter to me if he's being serious or just soliciting some easy money. I'll admit I've wondered what he's done, but I'm not willing to pay to find out.

I would refer to the type of drawing on his card as something along the lines of 'advance scribble art'.

It appears he is not to be bothered with the details and prefers to 'frame' the matter at hand, which (to me) always leads to a more generalized (perhaps safer) way or doing a reading.

All his art appears to be in storyboard form...
