I don't have this deck but I have come darn close to owning it. It looks like a very interesting deck and I know someone that swears by it. For some reason I got the impression it was more of an oracle deck rather than a tarot deck.

The Rohrig deck is certainly a Tarot deck and packed with many non traditional images - at a first cursory glance! However, as you become better familiarised with it many of the cards even have a subtle Rider Waite image concealed within them - very clever!
It is not a deck for the faint hearted at times, the negative cards being in some cases extremely so, but I like that in a tarot deck. After all life is not all sweetness and light!
