Wondering if somebody has her email/contact address? My address has changed and I am clicking in vain on her contact info on her website (I found it in 2 places but none of them worked for me - so I tried the link for purchasing a deck works - THAT one did! I thought I can 'steal' her address from there but the money would have been directed to Dark Fusion Theater and I'd like to send an email directly to her as I am missing 2 cards (Page of Cups included - but that card could be in its way). Thanks!

Her art is excellent, but rounded corners??!!! That's a new one! I've never seen a tarot deck where some of the cards have square corners and some of them have rounded corners! I like variety, new conceptions, new ideas but not THAT much!!!
Is the difference in font annoying or does it blend in?
I am also wondering how am I going to fit 78 cards (OK that's not my main concern right now) in the beautiful pouch she provided as I can hardly fit the 36 cards I already have.

Thanks for posting it Nicole. The title of the cards are at least more visible now, the old one is almost lost in the design - by the time the deck will be complete my eyesight will deteriorate enough so the old font won't bother me :)
(but she could not possible change the font based on this consideration :))(that we all get old meanwhile :)) OK, joke aside, I guess she realised that the font is a bit hard to see and she will change it for all the cards by the time her deck will be ready to be sold on the market (I mean like when she'll sell it as a full deck of cards). Still - shocking!

Well, I emailed her and she said, when I asked if the full deck (when it's done ) will all use this font:
Yes, when I redesign it will be all different! The changes in the cards over time is part of the journey...
and when I expressed surprise at the change for those of us collecting:
This is not the first time I have changed the font so it should not be too much of a "shock"

Yeah, well, no.
Is it a journey? Or just an inconsiderate annoyance masquerading as spiritual and artistic growth? You be the judge.
If this was a relative, I'd quit inviting her to holiday parties. If it was a neighbor, I'd build a fence. If I had a fence, I'd make it higher. Last edited on Mon Nov 28th, 2016 02:16 am by debra

Leaving jokes aside, this is exactly the kind of response I'd expect from her based on her attitude reflected by the cards she sent us.
Didn't she mention in how many decades does she plan to finish her "journey"? This deck may go in guinness book for the longest time that passed between paying for a deck and actually getting it (IF ever...)

Well, yeah. I was OK with the other font changes, and I can see why she went for this one as an ultimate (I don't like it, but it is clearer) But the mix really jars.
I don't plan to rock the boat any harder though. I live in hopes of having a full deck before I peg it. What seems very odd is that this inconsistency makes the deck - to me - almost less cohesive than the collaboratives people seem to dislike so much.

I see it (together with the rounded corners) as a disrespect for her customers. But it is what it is. My hope is the same: to have the whole deck one day. WOrst comes to worst I can trim my deck. Collectors on the other hand will have the most peculiar (and one-of-a-kind ) deck ever!

...at least if she would've send me all the cards she made. But she didn't. I emailed her again and again. She didn't even answer to my last ones.

Yes. Me too. I sent her an email asking for it.
ETA: I used to worry that the whole deck won't fit in its bag. Now I am wondering if I live the day to have the whole deck (fitted or not in the bag :) )Last edited on Fri Sep 7th, 2018 08:17 am by rylla

Old font, new font; rounded corner or not - at this point I wouldn't mind cards with ANY font or corner cut just to receive at least the Aces.
Yeah, her art is exquisite and the process could take long time. But I am waiting for this deck for more than 12 years. If she would have painted just 7 cards a year it would be ready by now. I've read that she found a new solution to the long process of painting the deck: by selling the major arcana. This isn't a real solution for the people who paid for the full deck 12 years ago!
Oh, well, maybe next year ... finger crossed for the Aces!
