Post updated on a kind of regular basis...
This thread is wrongly titled "not a collection" since I reluctantly admitted to be a collector, it is not an eclectic collection as you won't (or barely) find listed here modern decks, being pretty much targeted to those reproductions of very vintage decks - with a few exceptions. Quite short compared to this forum standards, this makes way too much decks for someone who wishes to argue he is not a collector, this thread also helps me keep track of my collection.
List updated as of september 7th 2012 (in bold : my dream fulfilled collection)
+Tarot de Paris anonyme XVIIth / André Dimanche-Grimaud 1984
+Tarot de Jacques Viéville / Heron 1984
+Tarot de Jean Noblet / Industrial version by JC-Flornoy with the completed swords serie

+Tarot de Jean Payen 1743 / Museo Fournier 2004 !
+Tarot de Jean-Payen, "El Tarot O la Maquina de Imaginar" (accompanying book title) / poker sized 5.7x8.8cm cards with standard playing cards back - trumps only reproduction, "barral editors" on the box and title card, printed by Fournier.
+Tarot de Jean-Payen / same as above without the title card, the original box and the printer informations.
+Tarot de Marseille Nicolas Conver / Heron from the Bibliothèque Nationale originals ("pink faces")
+Tarot Marsella 1760 (Nicolas Conver Tarot) / Orbis-Fabbri-Lo Scarabeo 2001
+Tarot de Marseille Krebs / Piatnik 2006 reprint - previously know as Tarot Rhenan
+Tarot Flamand de 1780 aka Van Den Borre or Vandenborre / Carta Mundi
+Tarocco Gumppenberg 1840/De Vecchi
+Ancien Tarot de Marseille / Marteau/Grimaud 1981

+I Tarocchini Giuseppe Maria Mitelli / Grafica Gutenberg (~ 1978 ?)
+Etteilla, type I, beat up and no box, pretty vintage and used- from late XIXth to at least pre-1950 in my opinion.
+Tarot Egyptien, Grand Jeu de l'Oracle des Dames (Etteilla type III)/ 1980s reprint by Dusserre
+Grand Etteilla (type I)/Grimaud (1980's print with french and english titles)
+Langage Secret du Tarot, Marseille Tarot / 22 trumps designed by Hélène Floret, accompanying the book by Simon & Picard, Tchou 2003 (kind of a redrawn Grimaud)
+Tarot Balbi / Fournier, with the box but no LWB
+Jodorowsky-"Camoin" 's "marseille restored-reinterpreted" tarot
+Classico Tarocco di Marsiglia / De Vecchi, in plastic box with a book in french
+very small mini spanish unknown title tarot - 22 trumps plus four cards with shapes and a red "LA?RE" card plus two explanation cards one can barely read with magnifying glass.
+Tarot de la revista Super POP 2010 (illustrated by terelo)
+Tarot Super pop adivina tu futuro (cropped version of the colourful marseille like deck)
+Ancient tarot de Marseille Grimaud 1981 reddish/brown box very thick and rigid cards
+Grand Etteilla (type I) Grimaud 1964 (french only)
+"Tarot Cards" = 1JJ 1970 - made by A.G. Müller, distributed by Waddington Playing cards, UK, LWB © Kaplan
+mini Ancient Tarot de Marseille / Grimaud

+Ancien Tarot de Marseille / B.P.Grimaud green box 1960's
+Tactic Ogre tarot / Square Enix, major only deck for a video game.
+I Veri Tarocchi / Lito-Rama edizione, actually a "fake" ? 1JJ translated to italian
+I Tarocchi dei Visconti / Monumenta Longobardica/Grafica Gutenberg 1974

bumping to reflect today's new arrivals (Paul Marteau/Dusserre and Balbi)
Since this list grew from five decks to nearly twenty today, the title is really no longer appropriate - but I can't seem to find how to edit it !
Maybe it's time for a sale or some trading too...Last edited on Sat Jan 8th, 2011 11:49 am by Bertrand

Today's update :
added a small set of the Jean Payen trumps on regular sized cards, with very modern backs, editor unknown (bad picture below, sorry only my cell phone available at the moment to take it) ; more decks moved to the bottom "no longer in the collection" list.Attached Image (viewed 374 times):

Thanks Yves ;)
new addition today, really out of the usual topic :
a RWS deck, a modest Pam-D !
I couldn't resist... but I believe it was quite cheap compared to the usual prices (though I'd like to know better) in faire state, no box, only wrapped in a (now unglued) rectangular piece of paper around the cards.
As the other Pam-D the trimming is aproximative, yet it has its charm ! I probably won't keep it a long time mine as my beloved one will probably get ahold of it.
paradoxically, this one is actually the oldest deck I own ! And I reckon, with this vintage touch, this deck is quite appealing !

forgotten addition from a few days ago : a nice but beat up Etteilla, quite vintage although I'm really not sure about the date. It has been used and abused and seems at least pre-1950 - but I wouldn't swear.
forgotten to add the cute mini spanish tarot.Last edited on Thu Jul 7th, 2011 01:33 am by Bertrand

Today's arrivals
+Venetian Tarot Cards "Milano", Italy XVIIIth / Fournier 2004
+Tarot del Libro de Thoth (Etteilla III) / Lo Scarabeo 2006, spanish box
plus a third copy of the full Payen deck, and books : Kaplan encyclopedia I - 1979 print, R.Cavendish 1975 "The Tarot"
edit : forgot a previous arrival, a third "mini payen", the same as pictured above, without box and title card but with the original book "el tarot o la maquina de imaginar", which I read but found a bit disappointing, I expected much better since that nice deck accompanied it. The first "small payen" copy was then offered to a shaman friend to whom I did a reading with said deck.
Also forgot to mention the Pam-D now belongs to my loved one.
And a second grafica gutenberg Mitelli is in the mail and hopefully should arrive soon.Last edited on Fri Dec 2nd, 2011 07:47 pm by Bertrand

added today - flea market finds :
AGM Royal Fez Moroccan, cheap and still wrapped in plastic - although the box shows some wear. I got it cheap, but I feel the urge to open it, and I don't know how much it is worth...
Tarot Oriental de Paul Iki, without the coins that are suppposed to come with the deck.

Tactics ogre received yesterday.
I believed it was definitely not my type of decks and yet I'm very impressed - excellent choice for the backs and the art, printing, etc.. are actually extremely good.

a wonder although the cardstock is a bit light, the book-like box is magnificent.

Forgot to add at the beginning of the summer :
"I Veri Tarocchi", an italian weirdness.
It's a 1JJ actually, but cards titles on the trumps have been translated to italian and are written at the top of the card (save for "il matto") while numbers are at the top, Junon is titled "la papessa" just like Jupiter is titled "il papa", titles have been completely removed on court cards and the back is the editor's name (lito-rama edizione) patterned in dark grey over lighter gray.
Also the cards are printed like Dusserre's "jeu de la princesse tarot", plastic laminated feel on the faces and mat rough cardboard on the backs.

Hi Bertrand, the Tarocco Gumppenberg 1840/De Vecchi that you have is from "I vecchi tarocchi italiani di Gumppenberg di Isa Donelli"? I'm asking because I found this book pre-owned in a very good price, but...I'm not sure about the cards quality.
I had a bad experience with Tuan's Dotti!
