While I was making a list of my decks for the members' collections page, I found this majors only deck and don't have a clue of the name or artist who created it. It's 3.5 x 7.5 cm and came in wrapping paper, in a little black pouch.
Thanks for any help you can give!Attached Image (viewed 87 times):

truelighth ? - you are big on black and white. I am stopping looking - I have seen SO many black and white decks I want, now... Interesting that the magician is apparently black - that should help... Moorish reference perhaps. Last edited on Sun Mar 10th, 2019 11:25 am by gregory

Thanks for the reply, gregory. Yes, the black magician could be a Moorish reference. I hadn't thought of that. I'm attaching four more images that intrigue me, one way or another, just in case they ring a bell in anyone's memory. Attached Image (viewed 81 times):

Oh yeah - you're right. Maybe there is also a Spanish version of the mask. But that beard....
And there's a mask on one of the dead people on Death, too...Last edited on Wed Mar 13th, 2019 11:51 am by gregory

I am afraid I also don't know it. But I will ask Guido Gillabel. Maybe he knows.

Thanks, truelighth, now I really am curious. If neither you nor gregory know, it must be obscure!
Perhaps it's the love-child of two other decks in my collection? Hmm ... I need to start asking some 'delicate' questions ... but which deck(s) do I consult? Last edited on Wed Mar 13th, 2019 05:59 pm by Peter

I'll probably find out I own it now. It wouldn't be the first time....

Thanks, Reece, I appreciate it. I really should be better organised. I buy things and make no note of where I got them, who sold them, how much I paid, etc ... well, the plot continues ... I really look forward to learning the name of this deck and discovering the identity of its creator!

I have a few that I got with no attributions - even from the seller...
But from another forum:
A Death-With-No-Legs!
and then:
Interesting that his spinal cord attaches to the scythe handle!
Now that IS different.... I wonder if Morena Poltronieri... (another museum owner) - not to mention - HEYYY ! the woman I email with in the Madrid tarot museum... Back later.Last edited on Fri Mar 15th, 2019 10:57 am by gregory

Wow! Total mystery deck!
I can't believe I never noticed that Death is legless (wonder what he's been drinking?) Last edited on Fri Mar 15th, 2019 07:16 pm by Peter

I have just had email from the Spanish museum, which I have copied to you, as the owner wants "more detailed photos"... (He can't ID it yet, at least.)

I just got the view of a collector almost as evil as me, who says it is clearly a collage deck (which it is; I recognise the woman in the World card - and he also recognises the four evangelists) - and he thinks it COULD be a movie prop. Good point....

Hi gregory, apologies for the slow reply but I was away in the UK (just picked up the new second edition of Cilla Conway's 'The Intuitive Tarot' at Watkins ... she's doing a signing there on 28 March).
I'll try to provide better quality images of the cards ... interesting thought that they might be props, although they are so small, around the size of old cigarette cards; I'd have thought something slightly larger would make a better prop for a movie.Last edited on Tue Mar 26th, 2019 10:33 am by Peter
