Hey, gang! My 9 of Pentacles is done!! It is Lady Frieda Harris looking in her pantry of Pentacles and finding the Book of the Law on the top shelf.

I really like the textures and colour combo in that 7 of wands. very picturesque.
AND, I'm finally done with all my cards! Since no one volunteered as to pose as the Queen of Pentacles, I just looked for a stock photo online and... "altered it significantly." It was an experiment on a particular style I wanted to achieve - something like vexel grunge. I didn't realize it would be so hard to replicate. Anyway, here she is:Attached Image (viewed 442 times):

Jb, I haven't seen that photo of Lady Frieda Harris before - good to see her looking so very swish compared to the rather disillusioned looking lady (by a car?) with Crowley in the more well-known photo.
It is sad that so few pictures exist of Lady Frieda and Pamela ...

I like your cards, Janet. Very tarot-connected and good choices. Eden Grey for the Hierophant and Pixie on the 5 of pentacles. I like it! And you should do more then 1 card next time too, you do just fine!

Thank you, Debra and Gregory for your very kind posts :-). When I was given the nickname "JB the HP", the "hp" in my name stood for "high priestess". I also like that "jb" and "hp" rhyme.
I can't thank Nicky Diamond (Nicole) enough for her help in putting my cards together! They were all my ideas, but I am technologically challenged on the computer (on everything else, too, for that matter) and wouldn't have been able to submit my cards on time. Thank you, thank you, Ms. Nicky!
I also don't post much because sometimes I just like to read the posts, but I will try to contribute more to this wonderful forum.
Everyone's cards are quite exciting!

Dear Truelighth,
Yes, my three favorite (deceased) tarot women. I got that photo of Eden Gray from the 1st World Tarot Congress in 1997.
In other disciplines men may run the show, but in the field of tarot, Women Rock!
My two pentacles,

Here is the 10 of Wands everyone. With it being Saturn in sagittarius and about having being burdened down that is the image behind the caged fence under the All Seeing Eye. But because of the ten don't worry the sun is rising so it will be over soon. Attached Image (viewed 341 times):

Here is my 7 of Cups.
I used a cartoon of Oscar Wilde (ever the dreamer). Here is the original: http://www.loc.gov/pictures/item/94501542

My Ace of Swords is 2 posts down now...
It's a black and white Victorian image that I fell in love with. Just look at how she holds the sword and seems to be in deep thought, totally in control of her situation.
The image is old and was quite dark, which is a shame.
Here's an edited version that shows the sword a bit more, which I think may be better in this case. I also lightened up the image a bit.
Let me know which one you prefer .
I created another Ace of Swords that I like much better than my one on page 3.
Let me know what you think :).

Loved the photos, but this is truly fun.
Also I see you changed the 2 blue lines to one...rather like the change as the little protest by those who were cranky about the blue line thing.

Wow, some cool cards. Love the hermit, great drawing and a new perspective. Two hermits for he price of one!
Remember to send the high res files to me at skadrmas1(at)gmail(dot)com
change the stuff in paranthesis with what it is, for those of you new to the forum, we write the addresses like that to avoid data miners.
We have 50 cards uploaded, and only 40 sent to me. Check the list on the first page of this thread to see whose cards I don't have.

Ok, we have a problem. so far there are 2 versions of the 7 of wands. Both are very interesting. Should I put up a poll? One the card was posted to the forum, the other was sent to me. I hadn't put the one up who sent to me because I thought mythos was going to do it. so we could end up with 3? Attached Image (viewed 194 times):

Here's my Page of sWords.
The significant Blue Line (among many here!) is the one that issues from the tip of the sword to stimulate newly awakening mental faculties. These are represented by the birds - like the butterflies on the page’s tunic these signify the element of air. The page’s cloak is covered with fragments of sentences, as one could almost call this young person the Page of Words.

Hi, I agree! I'm actually the person who sent Sherry the Tiger By the Tail 7 of Wands, a rather dark interpretation of "so you think you can dance with fire". But I sent it only as a stop-gap just in case we were stuck without an owner for that card. I can reserve (and perhaps refine) my submission for another time since we have NAMASTE's lovely Pumpkin Patch, so vibrant (and you can actually COUNT the 7 trees in that one).
Up to you guys, but seriously, no worries on my part.

Here is the STAR card. At this low resolution, many of the stars seem to have melted together, ala Dali, but they show more depth in the high resolution image for the deck.

The cards are all very beautiful. I wish I could have a copy of the deck printed on off white ragstock and spiral bound into an art book.

Nice work guys. My LAN hasn't been very cooperative lately, so I haven't been able to comment much (until my sister had this most inspired idea of taking out the LAN and rubbing it with an eraser haha), but I really like the turn-out this year. The wonderful collages, digital art, the discorporations, traditional drawings and paintings, and of course, that ok-so-i'm-finished-now-where-do-i-put-that blue line. haha
I'm currently working on a blue-line themed border for the decks. Of course, we will also be using the same iconic bg onepotato did, as in the last few decks, only this time it shall have a blue theme.

I think part of the reason why Skad set the deadline early was that it's almost certain people would be late anyway.
