Hi everyone!
I've been a member of this forum for a long time, but it's been so long since I've been actively posting that I thought it would be a good idea to re-introduce myself.
Some of you know me from other Tarot forums; in fact, some of you here are my Facebook friends, too.
But for those of you who don't know me:
I've been collecting tarot decks since 2005, and since that time have acquired about 600 decks. I read tarot, as well, but not professionally.
My favorite decks tend to be those in the RWS tradition, though I certainly have many Thoth style and TdM style decks in my collection, too.
When I'm not admiring my tarot collection, I spend a lot of time reading mysteries -- Agatha Christie is my favorite.
Professionally, my job centers around online education. I work for a university, where I provide technical support for our faculty who teach courses online. I also teach online part-time, in addition to my day job.
And personally? I live in the United States, in Texas. I have no children, no pets, and no house plants -- but I do have a marvelous partner with whom I've been living for 12 years. He collects musical instruments -- so between my tarot decks and his guitars, ukuleles, banjos, fiddles, and numerous other instruments, we have a very full house indeed :). He can play all the instruments, too! I've never seen anything like it -- he can pick up anything with strings and just play it by ear, naturally.
Anyway, I thought it was time I stopped lurking about and started posting here again :).
