I am new to Tarot studies but I know already that I love the Italian decks.
There is a devil card (Il Diavolo) in Sallie Nicholls book, Jung and Tarot, which
has captured my imagination in an amazing way. After researching that it is from the Viassone deck (1913) I decided that I would like to get this deck but I do not know if it exists and/or is for sale??
Does anyone know about this deck and how I can find it?
I would love to know.

Best regards,
1Jivos

I'm not sure that it is the Viassone deck, having just compared the book image with the images of the 1913 deck on http://www.innerlightsociety.org/alessandro-viassone.html

There are many, many double-ended Italian and Sicilian decks with slight variations, and some quite easy to get hold of.  Mind you, having looked at the Viassone, I can understand why you would want it.

Good luck in your search,

Thank you so much Mythos for the information.
The support feels great and, soooo where might the best place be to
find some Italian decks. I have looked on numerous sights but
have not found any of the double image decks.
Might you know some secret Italian sights !

Best regards,

I don't actually collect play-cards but for the history of the you can go to http://www.wopc.co.uk/

And this is an excellent site http://l-pollett.tripod.com/cards3.htm ... which covers tarot and playing-cards.

You can often buy double-ended tarot, and non-tarot decks through Rodney Sommerville at http://www.playingcardsales.co.uk

I've bought quite a few decks from Mr Sommerville.  You can search by country on the site, as well as by publishers and themes.  There is a rather lovely Russian Tarock that I have my eyes on:gi.

I think Tarot Garden http://www.tarotgarden.com may have some double-ended cards as well, if these are your preference.  They have an enormous stock of tarot from all over the world.

You have a wonderful world of exploration ahead of you.
