Are we being judged on our level of discriminating collectorship by how arcane the decks are that we are in pursuit of? I'm not sure Stella's qualifies, there.
I didn't think that finding this deck would be difficult, I thought it was now in sort of mass production printed by AGMuller (of course that basic information is right off of Adam's weblog), but I don't see it listed in their catalog.
I have the Stella's Simple majors, lovely deck. Sort of American folk-art look to it, from this Asian artist.

It is indeed printed by AGMuller in Belgium for Stella Kaoruko. See http://stella-club.com.
My guess is that it is printed by them under contract to Stella's company and (at least for the moment) not sold directly by AGMuller.
It's available from baby_dream.
As for being judged, I also certainly hope not. If there seems to be a disproportionate number of obscure decks discussed, I would guess that since the focus of this forum is on collecting, it's only to be expected that there would be interest in those decks for which information is not readily available elsewhere.Last edited on Fri Sep 14th, 2007 09:15 pm by ahclem

Judging.. um, yeah, that was supposed to be one of those self-deprecating first impression humorous comments that never works in print, those are never funny. :P
I am notorious for that sort of first impression. that's why I rarely jump feetfirst into a forum without lurking for a good year or so. but needs are needs.
And regarding my current needs.. ooh, many thanks for that information. I should have thought to re-check Baby Dream, that's where my deck of majors came from.
thank you both for the welcome, and I was fortunate enough to see the thread about the mushroom painter's book of tarot paintings. if THAT one was ever to become a deck.. man alive, I would be looking at extracting eyeteeth and seriously weighing the importance of left arms to get one of those. that art is RIGHT up my alley. juicy.

Stella's Tarot (78 cards version) is a joint-project between Nichiyu and Stella Kaoruko.
In Japan, this tarot is sold directly by Stella-club.com, and Nichuyu on-line shop, also over-the-counter at four stores.
Current printing status
(1) original 22 card-book kit is still in print.(published by Fusou-Sha)
(2) Chinese 22 card-book kit is also in print.
(3) 78 card+Korean instruction+pouch kit is limited run. only 100 sets.
(4) Regular 78 cards version is in print.
