a few obesrvations......according to the eBay description this is a Grimaud printing, although Alexandre Jodorowsky cites LeQuart, which leads me to believe this is a situation similar to a recent auction of a LeQuart "Classical Deities" Tarock, which according to Kaplan, was subsequntly re-printed from the same plates by Grimaud at a later date.
The LeQuart "Classical Deities" Tarock was sold to the same individual who also (recently) won the auctions for both the Mauro Capitani prints and the portfolio of Luigi Scapini prints.
The Jodorowsky page you listed mentions a "...copy of the Tarot of Besançon issued in the late 19th century, which in turn reproduced another Tarot of Besançon issued by Lequart..."
So I suppose this is the "late 19th century" that he was referring to.
It appears to be litho printed, and not woodblock.
And there is a tax stamp.
Only one word about this Grimaud. It is one of the late 19th century new versions of a Lequart deck. It is litho printed. But there is also another print of this Lequart deck (woodblocks an stencil) also made by grimaud. A luxurious print with golden edges and also 19th century (perhaps earlier). The litho printed is signed Grimaud, the woodblock printed is signed Lequard and Grimaud. Both on the 2 of coins have Arnoult 1748....
Really the cards of the Lequart (woodblock) are the same of the reprint of Marteau...
