I ran across it in Man, Myth & Magic, Vol.2. I know it's not one of the published ones but I've never seen it before.

I bought that magazine when it first came out, still have it all infact, complete with the nasty plastic folders they offered way back then. Just wish I hadn't taken the covers off each of the mags, (as you were supposed to do I might add)

And Yeah, I've always thought it was a cool Magus, but I don't know how well it's known about these days.

Looks good with its borders though...:ok

Since it was published in M,M & M it's obviously out there and known I guess, but not as much as the three that are with the deck. I think it's kinda cool looking and just wanted to share it.

Lillie never saw it before but says (and I quote)

It looks like a Thoth magus. The ape looks the same and the style is right. Just one more rejected magus I suppose.
No help at all, unusually for her. :D

Amazing! Thanks for posting, Abrac. I've often thought about those cards that AC made Dame Frieda  redo (some allegedly as many as eight times). Where are they? Were they destroyed? I'd love to see them.

I believe some are still in the Warburg Institute. And they won't let you in. They are too fragile even to look at, it seems (I never knew my mere EYES could damage things :D).

Now Pen - if, as a Famous Artist, they might let YOU in (I have tried the "serious study" route - nada) - please let me know. I will be your secretary, and Lillie will carry your books.... PLEASE ?

Famous?! :cl

Not even infamous... :Z

But it's good to know that they still exist and where they are - perhaps one day they'll photograph them and put them up somewhere we can all see them.

Or we could just storm the place in vast numbers...
