I have received some images of some rather engaging tarot cards. Does anyone know these ?

Those are pretty darn intriguing. Given the "2009" on the first one, they're obviously recent. Where did you get the images?

Someone, not a member of the Forum, sent them to me asking if I could identify them.

Wow! I totally agree - I wish i could help identifying them, but I have never seen them before - (but I very much wish to see them in my hands in the future)

Just out of curiosity, did this person mention where he or she had gotten the images?

It looks like several different drawing styles at work.
Either it's a collaboration, or someone is lazy about how they are using their reference images in combination with the more made-up bits.

It appears that these tarot designs were made by the american painter Christopher Ulrich. Apparently they can be found somewhere on his website
http://www.christopherulrich.com
but I have not been able to confirm this.

Click on the scary doll on the right of the main navigation page. You'll get 4 different cards at random with each click.

For anyone who doesn't want to do a lot of clicking, you can see all the cards at once here. They're at full size, so if your browser automatically resizes to your window size, you might want to do whatever it is that displays them at actual size.

Yup. I popped over there too. Not too sure about some of his stuff, but the tarot cards are very interesting. Anyone contact him to see if they are available to buy?

I've got an answer from Christopher. He seems such a nice person! He says he just created the MA yet, but planning to make a 78 cards deck sometimes in the future. He also says that:
'there is going to be a tarot lowbrow art show with 22 different artists
creating the major deck. This should be amazing. I have been assigned the Magician.
Perfect! Here is the link to the project: http://www.lowbrowtarot.com/ '
