My friend is going to France in a week and offered to go tarot shopping for moi.
I prepared a list of decks so she can find at least one match ... she is sending her husband on the search as he thrives on missions.
The question is - where in Paris is a good shop or two ... names, addresses, whatever ... I need to point the way :)

Awhile back Adam mentioned a tarot in his weblog that looked wonderful, but I haven't been able to find out anything more about it. It is apparently available only in France. I got a copy of Tendances on Ebay.fr, but the other has never shown up, and I couldn't find anything on the web.
From Adam's weblog:
30th April 2007 A month or so ago I got a copy of the stylish Tarot Divinatoire des Tendances, Today the Tarot de l'Amour arrived in the post. This is obviously by the same artist and similarly in the style of fashion drawings for couturiers. The Tarot de l'Amour was issued by the French lingerie house, Aubade, as a promotional item. It is a 22 card deck and comes in a rather fine red cloth wallet with red lace in the style of lingerie and tied with a bow.

These are the only shops I can find online...and I am not sure they are still even open... anyone been to Paris lately?

for what it is worth ... this is not a mission for those decks per se..
I just wanted a few locations to direct her husband for an assortment of decks... I am more of a Amber Tarot type myself.
