How lovely. And I can admire it and not covet as it isn't a tarot.....

From Italia, bella, and I have heard rumors of tarot there--shall I go back and scout around?

Thanks, my friend. It's in rough shape but the images are charming.

Hi Debra
I have this one http://www.itarocchidigabriella.it/sibille.htm
It is very similar to yours, but the images seem to be a little different and yours seem to be really old. I love this deck. I always use it for additional cards in readings. The 52 cards of this deck show a wide spectrum of meanings what gives a very complete feeling, a little like Tarot. One of ma every day decks.

They are strange little images. The one I have went through a war, I think, and it shows.

Beautiful, Debra - I can covet it!
I live in hope that one day such a thing will fall over my feet :)

Looking at the cards, shown above, I can almost read the story...
The government came like a thief whilst they were young and gay,
and off the boys went, and their families and loved ones waited...
and then one day a letter arrived, killed in action it said, and still~
we watched and waited, so many had gone away ~ we waited...
But, the final card is face down...
Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori.
