I voted NO but not in capital letters...just a little no.
There's no need for a formal theme ~ the theme is,
simply, us: Adam's Amazing Tarot Collector's Forum.

Well indeed we are AMAZING
theme's may be limiting and for some cards harder than for others and in colloborative decks even harder not to re-use the most commonly known fact/images/... of something and negelect others...
I actually voted for the flagellum (don't flagellate me!). I find it funny in a weird way. But I'm willing to work on whatever would be the consensus (no theme, it seems so far).
I voted for a visual element in common - it could easily be small/basic/easy to execute (like the poll suggestion of a square or triangle), although it seems I'm very much in the minority...
I really like the idea of a common visual element...something that's hidden in every card (sort of like the black cat of the Halloween tarot...but maybe even more abstract)
It would make it a theme deck...without actually being a theme deck...
because you can hide something anywhere in the picture...
Maybe even as a text element, if not a visual one
I was thinking something like a star, or an orange. (the fruit and/or the color) something simple and general.
