Does anyone have any information on the Marvel Tarot  comic ?

Does this include designs of tarot images or is tarot just used as part of the storyline?

David Sexton, the creator of the Winged Spirit tarot and Tarot of OZ is apparently involved in this project.

There are definitely tarot images.

Here is a link to some spreads in the book that feature some of the cards (scroll down):

(Note that the nature of the deck is that the actual images that appear on each card may be different characters at different times. Consequently, in the examples at the link above, there are different versions of the Magician and High Priestess.)

Here's an interview with David Sexton where he talks about the creation of the books:

I did a posting on it a while back...

David Sexton was kind enought to comment the post, but I've yet to find much more info...

Well this intrigued me enough to go out and buy a copy - very inexpensive at 2.25 Pounds or $5. It will be interesting to see the illustrations.

I've find David Sexton's work to be unique and interesting...

I conducted a thorough study of his Winged Spirit Tarot and connected with it quite well.

I found it and his Tarot of Oz to be simple, but intense.

Have a look at these cards hidden away on his AOL site...they are wonderful.

Apparently these images are for a Tarot he was working on based on the characters found within the novels by Ann Rice.

I sent him a note asking him to share more about his work with Ann Rice, but he did not reply. :?
