an old and delightful set of game cards from Italy.

another set was being offered on eBay a few months ago by the seller: picoti1
but there were no takers

the above link takes you to another site with some high resolution scans.

click on: mazzo di carte.....for card images
click on: regole....for instructions (in Italian) on how to play the game

Do you notice how the artwork is similar to early Disney animation and also early cartoons of Porky Pig etc.?

 yes, I have a set.

very strange edition, Google "Cibalgina"and it comes up with pharmaceuticals, menstrual medication I think  ....and the original box has a picture of a pill in a female hand.

I guess this was some kind of promotional item for the Cibalgina company which was absorbed by Novartis.

not sure what to make of it.....and it looks pre WWII.......yes, charming old style illustration from that era. reminiscent of Max Fleischer and Ye Olde Disney etc.
