 Looks like a new tarot from Luigina Monteu-Gina. Limited edition of 50 copies. From the card images shown, it appears that the consistent design element is a central image framed by an enlarged version of the same image. Interesting (if not exactly my proverbial cup of tea.)

I share your dislike of that graphic device.

Last year, an artist who has made some very wonderful designs for a tarot, which I would have published, sent me his final version of the cards. I was dismayed to find he had used Photoshop or some other program and created exactly that sort of artificial graphic border. I wrote to him saying that I thought this device was a mistake and that it compromised the presentation of his artwork. Sadly, he seems to have taken umbrage with me and has not replied to my email, nor to any follow up emails.
