This is what I love to call Ciro's "encore" deck and I just received my copy.

Bravo Maestro Bravo :ok

I personally regard this as his finest deck ever, but that's just my opinion.......actually I also love his self described Marseilles-hybrid "Decoratif" which was a welcome departure from his previous endeavors.

I just got mine (delightfully offensively personalised...!) - and yes, it's lovely. Even the BAG is personalised.

When my heirs sell my stuff on, someone is going to get a bit of a turn!

seeing as how you have such an extensive collection, your heirs probably will not know which are the most select and valuable.

If I were you, I would make a list of the rarest titles in your collection and make sure your heirs are well informed of their potential value and how to properly dispose of them, assuming that they will want to sell them for profit.

Oh they will know. I have an excellent database and two tarot friends who are all ready to step in to help her.

She does not want to sell primarily for profit, though - she wants them to go to people who will value them as I do. That's the reason she got the job. She already has a list :)

it's an enormous job given the number of titles you own, well over 3K isn't it?

however, using a camera or just your cellphone to also document the essentials of the decks/boxes would also be very beneficial. It would help document publication dates and other important details.

Around 2500.

I have two scanned cards from every deck in a printed catalogue. I have publication details, purchase info, price paid, description of box (if it is of any particular interest...) in the database. (I do not have that kind of cellphone, by the way. Mine does calls and texts, the end. I have a camera for photos, and a PC to go on line !)

I think I'm pretty well covered. If I'm not - I will live - and so will my daughter after I cease to live.

I started the database YEARS ago, as soon as I realised I was a Collector ! It doesn't take long to add anything new.
