I have a deck of tarot cards that I'm trying to date and gain general information about. It's a 1JJ swiss deck in an italian florentine style wooden box thats painted gold. I have seen several similar boxes but noone seems to have any information on when they were in production. The information on the deck that I have says Fabrique De Cartes J.Muller &cie. on the emporer and Fabrique De Cartes A Shaffhouse on the 2 of coins. I have seen several similar boxes with different card faces painted on the sides of the box. I know that the company J Muller became AG Muller in the early 60's and then became part of Cartamundi in the 90's. Cartamundi has not responded to any inquiries about this.
