I just received my copy of the deck and I am utterly overwhelmed with how fabulous it is!!  My heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who contributed your personal insights to our deck.

I love how the contributors' avatars appear on the Happy Squirrel card, too!

An outstanding job by all - the finished product is even better than I could ever have imagined!

Dear Skad1, Blue Toy and all your fabulous artists who shared in this wonderful deck,

I received my deck on Christmas Eve, and what a perfect and favorite present! The cards look beautiful, and the production is even better than I had anticipated. I just keep looking the deck over, admiring the art of each contributor and the nice presentation of this deck and LWB. I'm proud and honored to have been in this collaboration. Thank you very much for such a meaningful experience with all of you.
PS: Thank you Skad1 for getting all these decks out to us during the busiest, most hectic time of year. I'm sure you had a million other things to attend to and we sure appreciate your time and trouble!
Warmly,
Arnell

Skad1 and Blue Toy deserve big HUGS!!!

Is there going to be a 2010 deck?

If so, I would like to volunteer to do something...I can't take the lead on it, but I can take care of administrative details and stuff like that...I'm a good helper. :)

I got my copy today and it is wonderful! Wow! I had seen pictures of course, but the real thing is just awesome. And it feels so coherant as well, even though the art on all the cards is so different.

Thanks everyone for participating. And a BIG thanks to Skad1 and BlueToy for making this possible!:ok:tt

I won't be getting mine till maybe March or April (long story), so I'm anxious to know a few things. How are the borders? Are they "slightly yellowed" (which is how I intended them to be)? And are there any pixellated images?

The deck turned out very nice, and you can all be very proud of your work.
:ok

Thanks to Skad1 and BlueToy for putting it all together, and to everyone who contributed their work and made it a successful project.

And my particularly big thanks go to Skad1 for thinking enough of my minimal contribution to send me a copy.
I won't forget that!

That is not very minimal! I'm thinking of suggesting using the same pattern for the future collaborative decks (if it's ok with you). It has an iconic feel which I really like.

And gregory's right. You did a lot for the last project too! I hope you can participate again with the third one.

It's HERE ! WOW ! the quality is just amazing. I must chat with Skad about this for future reference.... it looks like a proper deck, if you know what I mean ! (no disrespect to anyone, but you DO know ! Limited edition decks don't usually look as though they could have come from a regular store, kind of.... they look more ART.)

Thank you SO much, everyone - without everyone, this would not be here (and the backs look terrific in the brown colouring !) I love the Happy Squirrel, too ! All in all it's a...

Sorry - got to get back to it :D

I had actually assumed we would always use the same back style.  Just maybe change the color hue like we did this time.  It would tie all out decks together as a cohesive whole (woo-hoo!) . I used Adam's forum logo for both the books to tie them together too.

No one has mentioned the lwb.  What 'cha think?

I created it in Excel, then transferred it to Word.  They collated it, which I really, really appreciated.  I didn't even want to try figure out which page was supposed to be opposite which page.

Re. the backs, definitely iconic - it'd be great to keep the design as our signature.

And the LWB is super - no need for pix inside.

The cards, the cards... I can't stop stroking them....:D

OMG! THANK YOU THANK YOU ONE AND ALL...

My wonderful TCF deck arrived today :ok , and my ghast has never been so flabbered !!!
I am truly humbled and ever, ever so gruntled.
It has certainly been a very real pleasure to be part of this project.

I was just blown away to see my own card on the box, a really nice touch  thank you skad1. And the quality of the production is simply amazing, especially for the price. It really does do justice to all the incredible artwork contained within this very special deck. OUR deck, thanks to all you wonderful artists.

Thanks also to Blue Toy for the choice boarders, titles, glorious Title and Squirrel cards, and what ever other computery magic was required for the printers.

All in all, I'd have to say, "Well done us!"

Cheers, Sumada

I was excited while waiting for this deck; now that I've got it, I'm even more excited about it! :ce It has exceeded all my expectations! I was wondering how it is going to turn out as a whole, since so many different styles makes up the deck. But no worries there; since each card expresses so well the meaning of that particular card, AND is almost a story in itself, plus the care, passion and love how they were made  - maybe that's the secret that brought all together, as it turned out to be a GREAT deck!:ro The cards, the printing, size, card-stock (AND the Squirrel card - such a great touch and addition to the deck!), and the box with our card on it, oh! and the LWB - and, and, and...everything about it....it's just great.

Thanks a lot to all who put extra work in it, I'm so gratful to all of you :tt- and I'm so happy to be part of this project AND to own this deck !:gi

at the risk that I'm repeating other people, THANKS, THANKS, THANKS TO ALL

rylla
