Hi! Here's my first attempt at card design. La Xaula is not exactly a tarot. It contains 24 picures duplicated both in color and black and white, conforming a 48 card deck. The cards are unavailable, since I am waiting to save some money to print a limited edition, but you can see almost all of them in this animation:

Here's the link to them on my website:

By the way, I am very interested in getting scans (as I guess a deck is almost impossible) of the whole Terayama/Usuki deck. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks and best regards!

Hi gerardzul - welcome! I like your cards - they're very free and original. Amazing the way the colour alters one's perception of what one is seeing.  And watching them change like that is practically hypnotic...

Thanks, goldenweb and hoo! Actually, each card has more than one line. However, they were made starting with a single line drawing and then adding a few more lines to complete the card. Sometimes an element of the image is made out of a single line and sometimes single lines make up different elements...

I really like this style with the colors. You seem to have made it your own. I hope you stick with it, and we'll all see where you go...

Also your animated gif presentation is unique. 1.5mg file size is a bit on the high end ( I calculate a 6 minute load time for a dial-up connection}, but for those of us on broadband it's a very nice way to do it.

Thanks! The animation thing is quite easy to do using Photoshop and Image Ready. As you probably already know, there's a very useful tool in image ready which creates frames out of layers, so all is needed is a file with each image on a different layer to create an animated gif. Here's a smaller one, some kind of tarot:
