I don't know much about this little deck. It's German and consists of 35 cards.The cards are a little larger then fortune telling cards.The side of the box says that this is 68/150 printed.The art work is kinda art deco and cool...... Attached Image (viewed 202 times):

This is the paper that came with the deck.I'm going to attempt to translate from German to English. If someone has a better understanding of German please correct me. The first paragraph describes the various art schools that Jajob Benjamin Reiser attented and various techniques that he learned.It mentions that mountain climbing and making card games were things he did.The second paragraph goes something like this:
"This game was created from a rare and very difficult technique from 1925 called film carving art.(wood block?)It is printed in a flat print after it was drafted.It is shown here for the first time in one of 150 examples.The cards are done in the same color,paper and form." (:shock: German makes my brain hurt !!! )
At the bottom of the paper is a phone number and addresse.I don't know if their are any more avalible.....MIKE

Hullo Mike.
Very nice deck!
It reminds me of the Glass Tarot a little.
Based on the look, and the translated description, I would offer a pretty fair guess that it may have been scratched into emulsion on film, (or acetate,) then contact printed on photo paper. Quite a neat idea, and I've never seen anything this elaborate done that way. If I were around back then, I would have suggested scratchboard!

that makes me really proud of my nationality :dude:
Your translation is right well, the technic description is more perfect with OnePotato's words "scratched into emulsion on film"
I think this is an absolutely rare deck (only 150 all together) which you got here and i really ask myself how you could find this.
