8/9/10

New version of deck check list.  Now it shows the resolution size of the file I have, and file date.  I suspect there are a few higher resolution versions out there, but I don't really have the time to go chase them right now, so check your cards and the resolution.  If you want the deck to have a higher resolution version, send it over to me.

8/4/10---********
08. Eight of Wands  GONE
09. Nine of Wands  GONE
05. Five of Swords

06. Six of Swords GONE
14. King of Swords GONE
07. Seven of Pentacles   GONE

PLEASE SEND HIGH RESOLUTION CARDS TO ME.

--2/16/10--
I have decided to announce a contest.  The winner will be a free copy of the 2010 deck.  Rules are in the thread.

There have been questions about the Blue Line.  And no, it's not a "theme", it's a "unifying element". ___________________

--2/15/10--status: 1 major remaining, 29 minors, + happy and title cards. (wow, they're going FAST!)
Blue line:  Must be BLUE and a LINE.  (no blueish, or kinda blue squiggles.) Rest is up to you, I may end up regretting that, but you wanted blue line.  Well, ok, I suggested blue line, but you didn't have to go for it! :D

 ________________________________________________________
This is where you select your cards for the 2010 deck.  First come, first served (ok, smash and grab, sheesh)

No specific theme to the deck, but a blue line need to be somewhere on your card.  Personally I think a cat would have been easier, but the majority has spoken.

Restrictions:  One (1) Major per person and two (2) minors.  Once we get farther in, and if there are cards available, I'll open it up to more.  Only exception if someone wants to do all 4 a number on the minors, eg. all 4 3's, they can do those 4 and no major.

See second post on this thread for card size and ratio.

Deadline:  June 30th

Card size and ratio.

The first diagram is the actual card size and dimensions.  The dashed area is the border which will be done by someone else, your design area is 2 1/2 by 3 3/4 inches.  To make the final design look as good as possible, it is always recommended to work at a larger scale.  Then when the final design is scaled down at the end, it minimizes any little imperfections.  It just looks better.  The second diagram is the the card sized up twice size, just to give you good working dimensions.  You can work any scale you want, as long as the final ratio is 1:1.5.  In other words, 1 inch in the horizontal equals 1 1/2 inch in the vertical.

2 minors... Thinks.... Back later - but when there aren't enough people, that might expand ?

Please enter my moon, she said acquisitively.....

I wonder if I want to do a set again......

Could I please have the Fool, the Knight of Wands and the Knight of Pentacles? And maybe one or two more later, when everyone's chosen.

Fine; takes Moon and sits down, virtuously. Once was probably enough anyway !

Pen, I am so sorry.  Somehow this happens to you and it's not fair.  I did miss your, I only scrolled up to where Gregory replied to an earlier post.  My Bad.

But it's all better now.

I did that previous post very quickly before this 'smash and grab' cleaned out the majors. I had been thinking of having a lash at the 4 Aces, but I see Quarkling has already bagged the Ace of Wands.

Woo hoo, here we go again!

Cheers, Sumada

I may not be updating the list much over the weekend.  We are having a major snowstorm.  In Dallas, Texas.  This not typical Dallas weather.  Our roads are getting ready to turn into a skating rink for cars.  Since we don't have alot of this type of stuff, we are completely unprepared for it.  I prefer to stay home where it's warm and away from other drivers who thinks there's nothing different.  They usually end up in a ditch, usually taking afew other cars with them.

Goodie. Death, please. (lol) :-) and 4 of Cups and Queen of Pentacles. Last time I did a major and a Wand and Sword Card, so I figured I should do the other 2 suits this time.

May I have the Devil and the 3 of Coins and the Ace of Cups?

Oh, are there any specifications about the blue line, like what color blue or how wide?

So happy to be part of this again!

Since the five of pentacles is my birthcard, under some systems, and since that card has hounded and plagued me (on and off) since 1973, I would like to do the 5 of Pentacles as my 2nd choice, to finally make that card my friend!

You do get to have a major AND two minors..... OR all four of one number minors and no major.

Or have I misunderstood you ? I am very tired.....

Fear not - I think you have not grasped my point - I thought maybe jb was saying that she would have the 5 INSTEAD, as an alternative - and she can actually have both and even another minor.

Better now ?

Back at the computer.

I'd like the High Priestess and the 5 of Pentacles.

Sorry for being unclear--

Janet

P.S. And two cards are all I can handle :D

I think La-Luna also has his eye on the High Priestess. Popular card!

I am still thinking.. I wanted the Empress this time (since I gave it up last time), but alas, that one is also already gone.. :n

But I will do a card! :hp

Oh oh! I just looked at the chart, but not at all the posts previous to when I wrote. So I didn't realize Mr. la-luna had already asked for the High Priestess. He had asked first. I guess the 5 of Pentacles is still haunting me. Darn :sd

I would like a Major, so I'll take the Hierophant.
I wanted to add, "I'll take the Hierophant, for two hundred dollars" because I feel like I'm on Jeopardy :-) but isn't life a game show?

Warmly,
 Janet
