Is this the best part of receiving a new deck or what?

The soaring heights of poetic connection lead me astray, soon to carry on another day.

Honestly, you gals and your minds!

Poor Dido was hard done by because she had the misfortune to fall in love with the jerk Aeneas.

She thought he was Troy Donahue apparently . . . hahahaha. Now there's real ambiguity for you. Too many Troy references.

That's what happened to me. When some of the new tarot decks seemed so lame, so much the same old thing, I got interested in transformation decks and thus playing cards again.

I started off buying playing cards with scenes or art on every card, and then these historical and facsimile packs began to entice, particularly if the pips are done a bit differently. I am not a great fan of Marseille decks, but I do have one from Il Meneghello that I got for my 30th wedding anniversary.

Hey, maybe you chaps would enjoy a thread on pip comparison in playing cards with some images? Will do.
