I think it would be a shame if there wasn't a 2014 version of the TCF tarot decks. But I don't feel like dealing with a full 78, so I am proposing a 24 card deck. Including a title card and a Happy squirrel. If you decide to take a card, let me know your regular email (if I don't have it already). it's alot easier to communicate thru email.
Rules, one card per person. But you can have another card as soon as the first is turned in. To avoid the hassles at the end, the end will come very quickly. Deadline is July 15th. So plan on doing your card right away. (that way you won't forget!)
Everything else the same as other years. Card size is 3.5 inches by 5.0 inches, with a design size of 2.5 inches x 3.75 inches. Just do image; card title and number are done on the frame.
Always check the posts for the latest. I will probably only update the listings once a week

Card size and ratio. (Same as last year.)
This diagram is the actual card size and dimensions. The dashed area is the border which will be done by someone else, your design area is 2 1/2 by 3 3/4 inches. To make the final design look as good as possible, it is always recommended to work at a larger scale. Then when the final design is scaled down at the end, it minimizes any little imperfections. It just looks better. The second diagram is the the card sized up twice size, just to give you good working dimensions. You can work any scale you want, as long as the final ratio is 1:1.5. In other words, 1 inch in the horizontal equals 1 1/2 inch in the vertical.
All dimensions are in inches

Hello all, I'm just home from a small vacation and if still possible I'll love to take temperance (time for some of that in my life)

Does one have to contribute a design to be able to acquire a pack?

Oh dear. Well, I'll have a try...put me in for the High Priestess then. But.....I'm no Rubens and don't have a Helena Fourment on tap, so it'll have to be someone less. My effort would need scrutiny....

How many pixels to the inch?

I can have a try with the SUN XIX. (Edit: in fact what I'd like to offer is as good as done, looking at it. Just need to resize.)

It will not have the kiddies on it though. I see this card about life and light, fun and flair.

I got caught in the humour of some of your cards, trying to put together a rather unartistic effort!

Why not something light-hearted? A gleeful-looking tarot reader?

pixels per inch depends on the resolution. We recommend at least 300 dpi which is 300 pixels per inch.

There will be a separate folder to post your card in and get comments. We learned in past years it was too confusing to try post it all in one thread.

Most of us are not professional artists. Some are (and darn good, too), but most of us just have asperations or really like tarot.

Great. 300 pixels/inch. I'll put the card up later this evening. And thanks for putting me down for the Sun. My Hired Priestess is in rather muted colours, less happy with it.

I'm FAR from an artist but I'll have a go. Feel free to reject it. I'm not easily offended!!

Thanks.

Since the deadline is so close, is it possible to adopt a second card yet? If so, I will adopt Justice as well. I already have one ready. And the Wheel is almost done.

A late Title Card submission (for some reason I thought the deadline was on the 20th).

Hopefully reminiscent of now-defunct logos found in the opening credits of old black-and-white films.

Love that cover card! I think I have delivered everything for The Star now. Please let me know if I need to send anything else. If you still have straggler cards, I would be glad to take one.

Spiralingcadaver's card is shown on the cards thread; I will poke him for the hi-res etc, and you have mine, too. I CERTAINLY sent you my bio a few days ago; I will do a chariot description momentarily....

I am a little worried about morwenna as I had emailed her about something completely else and got no response. I will ask a friend of hers if she's OK.

Yeah, I don't count the card done until I get the high def version. I PM'd spcad, and he said he'd get back to me soon, but morwenna said that too.

I'll be picking up the decks later today, and hopefully get them shipped Friday. (more later)

I have four decks from people who didn't let me know if they wanted a deck or not. thanks to spiralingcadaver who let me know that he didn't want a deck (but someone else did!) If you want another deck let me know before I ship and I can toss it in your envelope/box.

Thanks to everyone for your effort to make this another wonderful deck. As always I am amazed at the creativity we as a group come up with. It's another great tarot deck!

AND THEY'RE OFF...>>>>>>>>>>

All paid decks are mailed. I may have made mistakes this year so check that you received the right number of decks. I'm 2 decks short, so I think acouple people got an extra deck, luckily acouple people said they didn't want a deck, so I would have had acouple extra. I my have also sent acouple in boxes that should have been in envelopes. oh well...

BUT YOU SHOULD BE RECEIVING THE DECKS SOON!

Let me know if there are any problems, or the decks got to you in bad shape or anything like that. or if you paid for 2 decks and got one. :ok

The deck is wonderful. I can't get over the Magician and the Devil. :D Excellent.

I plan to send Guido at the Tarot Museum a copy, as I did last year. Wish I had done that all along so there would be a complete set of our decks in his collection.

You'll please forgive me for forgetting to do my narrative...it's been kind of a rough year. :kt

I have been sending a copy of the deck to Adam McLean and Maria at the Meseu in Italy. One year they did a really nice display of our deck.
