Hi All,

Does anyone have this or know anything about it? I've seen a listing for it on EBay, but I can't find any other images or information about this deck. Is it new? Has it just not made it out to the usual retail outlets? It's put out by Fournier. I'd like to see more of it before I plunk down money for it.

Thanks.

Sebille

It's actually listed by Lo Scarabeo here.

My guess is that it's made up of existing Alchemy 1977 art, as was their previously released playing cards.

Thanks, papoon. I think I saw it on Fournier's site as well. I found the playing cards on Amazon, but not the Tarot deck. Looks like all they've released image-wise is the one photo. Since Lo Scarabeo is listing it, is it safe to assume US Games will be selling it eventually?

Why would you assume that ? Llewellyn distribute LoS decks - but this is Fournier....

I just got it from LoS - but I didn't see any earlier versions, so can't comment on that side of it; I like what I've looked at so far (about 5 minutes - I just got in from 4 weeks away and opened the package to make sure it was all there and stuff !)

the copyright on the box says 2011 but that's not necessarily an indication, and a quick search showed me that at least some cards are identical in the card games and in the tarot deck.

(some like the joker that became the fool in the tarot deck has been tweaked/updated/recolored...)

the minors are non scenic - but nicely decorated (if you like the style) my personal favorite suit would be the wand personified by black roses.
