 I may have asked before, in which case, forgive me....

- but is there any way to set the number of posts to a viewed page rather higher ??? I'd love not to have to trawl through pages and pages every time I follow a thread..... just have loads of posts on ONE page.....

 Over at AT, when I was too lazy to log-in, I just used to add "&pp=500" to the url thing at the top and it would show all posts. I tried it here but it didn't work, so maybe posts per page are a fixed thing here :(

 I have now increased the number of posts displayed in a thread to 50.
This may help. Setting it too high might result in the system running slow.
If this is a problem I will restore it back to 30.

Will the software here not let users set their own preference ? Then if we don't CARE that it's slow....

No. This is a global setting. We will see how the current setting works. Not everyone has a fast computer or fast internet access. Let us see how this works out.
