Has anyone received any new additions lately? This deck is lovely and I am paranoid that somehow I fell off into space on the mailings...

The last card I received was The Fool, back in May 2008.

I think the artist recently had a baby, so that could be keeping her busy! There's a Tarot of the Pomegranate site on Tribe.net that has a post about that.

Me too. I wish she would finish the majors; it would feel sort of more COMFORTABLE, somehow !!!

Yeah, the last card I received was the Fool, also.  I think that, yes, she did just have a baby (summer of 2008?).   I guess we all have to be patient.

Yes. :D

And I heard she gave birth last year - maybe there is a problem..... (I see someone already mentioned that...)

ETA quote from her blog, dated March 12 2009:
I am finally getting back to painting after having my little baby Nini 8 months ago! I have been cleaning out the painting area in the basement in our new house, so Poul and I will both be painting up a storm soon here! I am not sure how we are going to work out the schedules, it will revolve around Nini of course (as everything does now) and her naps! I'm sure i can get my mom to come and babysitt sometimes during the day so I can be downstairs painting. Right now i have the Hanged Man which is almost done sitting there in it's new painting area waiting for me, and my blank unprepped canvas, which will be the Chariot ,next to it. It's so exciting to have only two more left to do of the Major Arcana!

So cheer up !

I don't want to belabor the point, but I am so disappointed that she has not given us an update.  I am afraid that she has forgotten who has ordered her deck.

Now I am worried.  She never responded to my e-mail of almost 9 months ago.  AND, my support of her deck is listed on her web page "Suzi from Poughkeepsie".

When her 5 of cups failed to reach me, I wrote to her twice, and she did respond with an apology and a 5 of cups mailed to me as a result.

From now on, I'll keep checking in with you guys.

So far, so good.  I have all the same cards you do.

Thanks so much for posting them!

*sigh*

I've sort of given up on this. And maybe I never believed she would follow through with the concept because frankly, she will lose money on mailing cards to me in Germany alone!

I had sort of expected to receive the cards in bunches, and not one at a time, too.

Morwenna,

I've gotten, I think, two new cards in two  years.  She really owes an explanation to those of us who have invested in her deck.   What I can't fathom is how she can continue to present her deck "in progress" to others, at this rate.  Let's hope that we are way off base, and that she has more than The Hanged Man in the works.

I hate the be such a wienie about this...I just wish at least we could say we had a set of the majors completed...

I have no problem waiting for a deck to be created... Marie White and Joanna Powell Colbert, for example, took a some time to get their decks done, but they completed majors, sold them, and then went on...

:f

I thought I'd slip in my monthly whine before gregory got back in town to yell at me

Hi all; dunno what email you are all using, but:

Thanks for contacting me about Tarot of the Pomegranate, and your continued interest and support! I am diligently working on The Hanged Man at the moment, and am almost finished with it. It will be quite a surprise, and worthwhile wait! Yes, unfortunatley it is taking me longer to finish cards this past two years because of the baby ( pregnancy and adjusting to being a new mom is quite a journey in itself! )
I am very diligent about getting back to people who contact me about my deck, and I check my email several times a day. I am not sure who is not getting an answer from me but they may have an incorrect email address, otherwise I would have received an email.
I have not received any email from a fellow journeyer in many months, those I do get a quick response as you know. I look forward to sending everyone the latest major arcana and am aiming for December. Send me good thoughts!

(Given my own daughter who has slowed down dramatically since becoming a mum - it is DAMNED hard in this day and age...)

Thank you, Gregory

I am so pleased to read her response to you.  Yes, I am aware that she is still working on the Hanged Man; and now my faith has been restored by the tone of her email.   Ah Babies!   I remember those days.  Now my granddaughter is bringing it all back!

Regards,

Suzi:kt

Just got email:

I have now completed "The Hanged Man" and I will be sending out the Tarot card to add to your deck in the mail shortly.

Now if she would just finish the majors next (what's that - just Chariot to go ?)

Sorry I haven't been posting on the Pomegranate forum lately...I've been meaning to...Yes, The Chariot is in progress and I will post a more detailed account of The Chariots journey as I go deeper into it! FYI this card follows a more traditional interpretation ( compared to the last card The Hanged Man )...

OK ALREADY ????:cl
