All of his decks are fabulous.
He seems to capture the liveliness & charm of the old days, but in his own original style.
I have some loose trial-proof cards from this deck, with what I presume is watercolor color experimentation. (10 of the 12 courts, plus the Mandrake. Red marbled backs.)
And I just recently bought a copy of the full deck, but it hasn't arrived yet.
I'll bet you got the other copy that was in the same sale...
If that's the case, I'll be interested to see how different they are.
(Not sure if one of them was a proof, or if there are color variations within the regular edition.)
